DETI's Mission:

To be a leader in promoting educational and practical initiatives that result in the highest standards of driver attitude and road skills and to make educational opportunities available to all drivers.

DETI's Vision:

To improve the standard of Clinton County and Northern New York drivers and to be a facilitator and coordinating body for driver education, to make driver education available to all Northern New York drivers.

DETI's Focus:

There are four key areas that contribute to basic road safety and reducing the road toll, thus creating safer communities:

Safer Management, Safer Roads, Safer Vehicles, & Safer Drivers

We focus on the "Safer Drivers" aspect which will only influence crashes and deaths associated with driver factors.
